Piezoelectric ceramic composites
Piezoelectric composite materials have greatly improved the performance of ultrasound and sonar sensor used in medical, biological, military and industrial applications. Fabricating piezoelectric ceramic into precision pillar arrangements with a polymer matrix filler, the composite configuration will outperflrm a monolithic component constructed solely of the same piezoelectric ceramic.
Standard shapes and sizes
Due to a wide range of materials and engineering expertise, the company produces a wide range of experimental and prototype components in addition to standard range of products. Our application engineers are always happy to provide assistance and advice to the clients to seek new solutions to problems involving piezoelectric materials.
Standard plates
Plates are normally cut from one of the three alternative standard sizes, i.e. lateral dimensions of 40 × 20mm, 50 × 50mm, 89 x 42mm. Larger sizes up to 150mm lengths can be cut from discs.
Standard discs
Discs can be manufactured up to 150mm diameter with a thickness range from 0.2mm up to 40mm but not in every combination for every material.
Hemisphere and focal ball
There are two forms of hemisphere: one is unmachined, low cost, hemispheres with mechanical tolerances + 3% or 0.3mm whichever is greater, and the other is fully mechined hemispheres and focal bowls to standard mechanical tolerances.
Standard pipe
The following table shows the range of available standard pipe. In addition, we are able to manufacture other standard pipes outside the range. It is glad for us to discuss the special requirements of our clients.

Some examples of our standard ring are listed in the following table, and we are also capable of wider range of sizes. Changes of the thickness of the ring is .very easy.
